Within 2 months of being retired and enrolled into Medicare Sherry has received a Pre-Determination Notification from the Social Security Administration.
This Notification has explained to Sherry that due to her income from 2 years prior she has entered into Medicare’s Income Related Monthly Adjustment Amount (IRMAA) and that her Medicare premiums
have been increased by almost double.
Further compounding this issue, the increase in her Medicare premiums will be automatically deducted from her Social Security benefit.
